CELL CAMP UPDATE!

ok, booked the rooms for feb3-4. checkin time is about 4pm (no problem) and checkout time is 2pm. means on sunday, i'll try and see if we can extend a bit, will only know closer to the date, or we can pack our stuff and still continue with whatever we were doing, shouldnt be a problem.
however, it turns out that we have to pay for the roomsla. its 150 for the two rooms, which works out to about rm12.50 per pax.
i suggest that to make it easier, we just collect rm20 from each person to reimburse petrol/toll for those driving. still cheap what hor?:)
then i also suggest, for the big seafood dinner, hehe, we use cell fund? how about it?

ladies and gentlemen, as you know, we've discussed our cell camp lans extensively but bad news is church leadership would rather us NOT miss cell in simon's place OR saturday service.
so the only thing we can do is leave immediately after service on saturday at 7pm, check into the resort and have seafood dinner in PD!
sunday we can leave extra late too. after dinner as well, and reach kl by midnight. all ok with that?
the dates are 3rd and 4th february.

basically, we're going to my company's training centre (dont worry. got bed, got swimming pool all, and maybe, not sure, meals provided) and i think i can get lodgings for 12 people FREE! so, first-come first serve basis, please confirm your participation with our wonderful sexytary, Woon Sue Ling.

if we have 12 pple, we'll need three cars, so i'm looking at eric and mei fong to help me out here.

Morning ppl,
As informed, this saturday is the Young Adults Christmas Dinner =p Gonna be a "Sensational" one =P So.. HAVE YOU invited your family, friends and colleagues?? Truly take this time to invite them. It's one of the best opportunity cos ppl will view it as a common christmas celebration (i.e NON Threatening) ;) and will be less hesitant to attend.

A proof: Invited both my c's and non c's friends, saying that there's a christmas dinner in church and i'd like to book a table and invite them. Praise God! three non c's replied immediately. 2 of which usually will be the 1st to decline any of my umpteenth invitation to church. Truthfully it's such a joy to know that they will be attending this time round. So likewise.. encourage you to do the same. Simply extend the invitation and the rest just leave it to God to handle..

Therefore, i look forward to more of you informing me of the number of invitees you have that we'll be coming. ASAP.. cos we'll need to book the table. It's RM5/pax.. but if you have any difficulties footing it, just lemme know yup =p

say, when was the last time we went to a camp together?
last i remembered was last year at genting (near awana).

but fraser's sounds good, tentative plan of 30th - 1st in fraser's hill is very fine with me.
in fact ideas came out for more adventurous activities, ie Gua tempurung in perak (hence we can include the ipoh lang) or go makan there. activities like water rafting, caving, or just makan-ing.

all these will definitely be after christmas. this is seperate from our christmas dinner/activity?
or is we are having our cell camp near christmas then we may very well have the proper xmas dinner then too, whether it is with tea, strawberries, butterflies - cameron......

anyhow, i'm in for cell camp in Fraser's dsuring 30th - 1st

well, ideas for a cell outing has progressed to that of a cell trip! or cell camp as we sarcastically called it.
in cell last night, we thought that maybe we could all bundle into a few bungalow rooms in frasers for new year's eve, specifically dec 30-jan 1. not sure actually, if our zone supervisor and pastor will be happy about that, hehe. but we will have our own watchnight service on dec 31.
failing which, then we'll have to shoot for the next weekend, say, jan5-7.
just preliminary ideas. feel free to contribute.

you know, every year cell does something for christmas, just like how we do for harvest events etc etc.
why dont we really try to have a proper cell christmas? it can be on a cell nite, or any other night. it can be in simon's place, or at someone's condo, or at a restaurant.
a proper cell outing. we can exchange gifts if we want, or just have turkey! or bak kut teh. or whatever. we can sing carols, or we can just yak all night.
a night to remember Jesus, of course, to celebrate what he gave us... joy.
sure it was for salvation that he died on the cross, but to what end is salvation, freedom, love etc... isn't it all about being happy, in the end? and the best sort of happy is being happy in Christ.

or, if we really just prefer to spend christmas as we normally do each year, then, sure. it wouldnt be any less meaningful. for most of us, christmas is about family, friends, church, a lot of things.
there is no right or wrong decision. but if we want to do this, then it's time to start planning from now.

Recently i got a task to design a logo and icon for the up coming plan for "World Praise" its like LIVE 8 thingy.. 4 different place sing praise and worship GOD live via satelite boradcast.. high chance i'll be invlove in this project...i'm glad GOD didn't leave me at all although i left Him far away...

also... i'm going down to JB for a week on monday for Event..

Morning guys.. suffering from morning bliss and cloud 9 hovering over. hehe.. Many good things happening at this point in life. Just praising Him for all that is happening. Sometimes in good times we tend to neglect God, but let us continuosly draw close to God. I'm reminded of the events at Mount Sinai.

God supplied quail and manna to feed the hunger & quench the thirst of the multitude but instead they berated Moses and talked about how good it was back in Egypt. Despite experiencing God's provisions and presence.. they ppl stood afar. Exodus 20:21 "So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was."

Let us have a gratitude heart before God... Not from a near distant but from a close relationship.

Morning guys.. truly lack of sleep last nite. sigh.. need a double shot this morning.

Work has been good. Learning along the way & of course meeting new ppl. Company just had a deeparaya lunch yesterday & was a good avenue to get associated. Annual dinner is around the corner.. hehe.. looking forward =)

Btw guys.. Gotta share How awesome God gathers His ppl! Met one of the manager last Sun during service. Pleasantly surprised! And yesterday, found out tt my CFO (Chief Financial Officer aka my direct boss) attends GT as well. How cool man!! Another answered prayer of mine.. Christian employers! Also...Will be sharing room with her this weekend during our PD retreat & now i feel less awkward. God is just so good =)

work, work, work.
over the last year or so i've been less and less involved in cell for two reasons. one to let go and let you guys take over the reins - which i am pleased to report, has been a very good experience and things have gone well - while the other is because of work.
there's lots of it and sometimes it just doesn't feel worth it. i've made an ultimatum to myself and in a way, maybe its challenging God to throw me into one direction or another.
this end of year's appraisal must see me going up to a higher grade (union worker, no real promotion one, just diff salary scale), if not, it's time to move on.
haven't shared this with many people, not even my parents. so just pray, we'll see what happens.
meanwhile, i am plsed that despite all this, God has given me the necessary resources to still do good work. which, hardly any of you readla, but nevermind that:)

For those who dont know, i having the craziest time of my life. Not fun!
Let me see there's the part my elder bro has left to s'pore to work permanently, my 2nd bro in m'cca studying; fam of 7 now left with fam of 5 - very diff cos now less noise from siblings but can be annoying as my mum's voice becomes more prominent at home. and all the extra food during dinner, cos she always forgets that she's supposed to cook for 5 not 7!

Oh there's of course my dad who got injured during work at construction site. it was just last fri, didnt know abt it cos left phone in bag in car during cell - found out when got home. Its crazy cos he got 8 stitches on his thigh. Long story short he wasnt supposed to be there in the 1st place. Trying to get him to retire, of course quite impossible as we have 2 more tertiary student to support.

and of course! the only place in KL which got flooded lately - my place!
dont wanna begin, but all's good.

Work – let’s just not go thr.

its crazy but even i may sound sarcastically dejected but i am not! I am not gonna sit around and cry over the unfortunate things that had happened. I am gonna fight back.

so my sis n i have devised a plan! We are going to pray! Everyday at 8am! Started last Sun. Duration – till got break thru la! (actually haven’t thought of when to end)

So now my new schedule:
will no longer be waking up at 9 am and come in to work at 10am, but waking at 6am, take turn to use the toilet & the bathroom (one of the reason why I chose to wake up later + also to avoid the 7.30am-9am jam, everywhere in the world!)
Send my youngest bro to school (lower 6th form)
Reaching work between 7.30 – 8am >> BREAKFAST!
8am-8.30am >> PRAYER + devotion
8.30am-9am – supposed to be reading some books that I pledge to finish ages ago, but so far I have been going back sleeping during this half an hour period.
Then back to work la!

So far so good! As for my sis – she should be doing her part! But most of the time, she is on the company’s bus commuting to work at 8am, so no reason to not do it.

So remember - 8 am, wherever you are or whatever you’re doing, remember us in prayer la! I supposed regardless what GMT you’re in. (That means you guys out there in US!)

For everything else, I’ll just see u all in cell or when you’re back.

hello hello.. been surfing (net) the past few days. but i tellz u - even wifi @coffee bean is slower than my dial-up at home. OH Pickles!! =p MAnaged to catch MANY winks while at it.. u catch the drift =p

i'm staying in town w avi's granny. it's one of those old classic home. when night falls, tiny creature comes alive. leaving u being transported back to the nature. i like it.. hehe. just heard a bird humming a tune similar to a R&B song..no kiddin =D i was simply startled.

well.. how's kk like? laid back. very laid back. the ppl here pretty much live a humdrum existence. they go thru d monotonous routine of work.. home.. sleep. the entertainment available is bare minimum. there's shopping mini-malls, cinema, pubs & clubs, eateries by the beach. ermm.. think i've mentioned all ;) hehe.. but i've GOT to mention one thing: the live bands are AWESOME!!! mostly fr philipines. KL loses by far in comparison. the ppl? nice & warm. pretty sabahan girls? hehe.. i attest the truth of that statement.

i'm pretty much on my own d early part of day. while avi is@ work, i go about city gallivanting. hehe.. but mind u,the town is quite small & the major streets in town r parallel. it's convenient travelling fr 1place to another by public bus, or i'll take a walk. met up w eugene wong today 4 lunch will b joining his cell grp 2nite. attended another on wed but was more of an older crowd. on sunday will b attending All Saints.

so soon it's friday. having a wonderful time here thus far. wish it cud b an extended holiday. avi & i will b diving 2moro. Yippiwe!!!! initial plan was to go island hopping but found this dive package at a reasonable price so we opt for it.

yet to visit the reputable Sutera Harbour. watching d sunset is not permissible due to the daily downpour but will definitely want 2 scrutinize d surrounding.

sorry tt i'm unable 2 join u guys 4 karen's affirmation nite & 2moro's farewell dinner.. have a great bonding moment ya.

As a finale to my bumming days.. Sabah awaits me!! hehe.. yup, booked air asia yesterday although the reality hasnt really sink in. A mad whirl of excitement surrounding me. hi guys.. gonna start work soon in JP Morgan. Am really thankful for God's provision. Just had my medical check up earlier.. hehe.. am found fit to work. PTL! =p Submitted all my docs to the office so now just gonna polish my knowledge while waiting to be called in.
Another interesting event 4 me this week would b the interview w bank negara on thurs.. was truly a pleasant surprise tt i got called. God is so Good.. Well, somewhat not too keen on it & also kinda doubt if i can get thru 1st interview =P.. nevertheless, will appreciate the interview experience. thanks guys for keeping me in your prayer. really..

PRAISE THE LORD!!!
Yesterday i was just conversing with God regarding my application. Minutes later, i received 2 calls for interview. Kimberly Clark & JP Morgan Chase. I'm so thankful to God. Not sure how many of u understand the exhilaration of being called for interviews. Such pure bliss =) And you know all this is from God. Today, received another call fr Bank of Nova Scotia. I want to testify that i'm truly grateful to God. Some of these companies truly demand an impressive resume which i might not have delivered it. Therefore i do know that it's not me but God that is able. praise Him praise HIm praise Him!!!!

Last night was reading the Bible and i recalled these verses which spoke to me last week. This
time round, the similar verses spoken in similar fashion but with regards to my job applications.

Psalms 118:
5In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free.
6 The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
8It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.

Sometimes we r intimidated by these 'Big Players' in the workforce. We place our trust in their one man's decision, hoping to secure a future with the org. We go all out trying to impress them with our knowledge, skills, eloquence, well-scripted answer, immaculate dressing, etc. Dont get me wrong, i'm not saying we should not equip ourselves for interviews however to realize that we rely not on our own works but on God for His favour. I came to realize how futile actions can be if our primary focus is not God. Only God provide that covering for us as we go out hunting for job. A job hunt without God would mean; a barren search; bootless entreaties; fruitless labors; an unavailing attempt; a useless search; vain regrets.

Indeed, It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man! Hallelujah!

Btw, i was offered the job in KC. Praise God! =) However, i've told them tt i've to delay my reply due to other job interviews. Pls allow me to covet your prayers as i attend the interviews and as i patiently wait for more - that God will guide me in every decision and grant me employer's favour. I thank God for the ppl he has placed around me at such a time: for the sound advises; genuine encouragement; upheld prayers; and other assistance.

so what have i been doing? well.. 3 distinctive activities i've been engaging the past week: wifi-ing, meeting ppl and Sleep! =) hmm.. sadly havent seen any reduction in the eyebags. Oh Pickles!! Other thing i'm doing, loading reading resources fr websites. Ravi Zacharias is one of them. others include Ulf Ekman, Charles Spurgeon etc.. Reading them in between spare time. do go online and search for resources guys. Of course reading the Bible mustn b neglected la ;p The different strength of each speaker/author/pastor enhances our own reading and understanding of the Word. hi ppl.. just sitting here @Bucks havin my cuppa (2nd time in the day) hehe.. oh! envy me not.. kiddin kiddin. must truly embrace the leisure hours i'm having now. got back fr perhentian. gosh!! it was SPECTACULAR!! i had such a fabulous time diving. Was an awesome spectacle of the underwater residence. An eyewitness to some of the wonderful creation: triggerfish; six-banded angle fish; HUGE MAMA!! Bumphead fish; yellow-spotted box fish; bamboo sharks; barracudas; batfish; nudibranches; and many others. Not yet a diver?? Shame on u.. hehehee.. But Shame no more, cos i'm recruiting. =P Will be planning next dive trip coming sept. lemme knoe if interested. now now.. the reason i'm so vigilant in converting ppl to become divers is not bcos i'm so obsessed with the sport or simply to blow any trumpet.. But it's the beautiful creation of God underwater that shouldnt be dismissed just bcos we spend most if not all our lives on land. truly it brings a whole a new dimension worshipping the God our Creator. I say no more, truly, if u have the time, the means.. really encourage u to take up diving.. ýay?? =)

What do we consider success? If we were to classify a successful person, what would be the earmarks? Power? Wealth? Popularity? Respect?

If that is our criteria for success, then apparently Jesus was a horrible failure. Was He popular? Not for long. The fickle multitudes sang His praises for awhile, but they turned on Him a short time later. So in a sense, He was not popular. In fact, after one of His sermons, all of His followers deserted Him except for the twelve disciples.

Was He politically powerful? No. He was a political failure. All levels of government first rejected Him and then conspired to kill Him.

Did Jesus have lots of friends? Not really. He had a lot of fair-weather friends. He had a lot of people who claimed to be His friends, but when it came to the end, He had only a handful.

Did He have money and possessions? Not really. He said, “The Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head” (Matthew 8:20; Luke 9:58). He had one garment that we know of, for which the soldiers gambled at the foot of the cross.

Was Jesus respected by His peers? It you consider the religious leaders His peers, then the answer would be no. They rejected His work.

But despite His failure by these standards, Jesus Christ was the greatest success that anyone ever could have been. Why? Because He came with a purpose: to die for the sins of the world. And He accomplished that task.

The Holy Spirit Got Me Pumping...

Wow!! That's all I can say about the awesomeness of the Lord... This past week there were 28 of us in total that went to Fraser's for a mini-camp retreat. The only ones from our cell were me and Sue Ling and the rest consisted of overseas students back on holidays, local students on holidays, and those that just graduated. I really didn't expect much when I went for it and I have to honestly say that I was considering to opt out of it a few days before the camp. But yeah, I still went despite my terrible attitude. Sorry Lord... Anyway, this camp is sponsored by Ps. Julie, Auntie Dawn (Enoch's mum), and also another auntie (Ian's mum). The only thing we had to pay for was our food (RM40). So yeah, everything was provided for and I just have to say a big THANK YOU to Ps. Julie and the aunties. Really am thankful for their desire to just bless the youth!!

It was just an awesome time of bonding as it really felt like a big big family sitting together having dinner; going for walks to the waterfall; watching football as Australia lost to Italy by a stupid penalty (yes we had ASTRO with all channels); playing icebreakers like CHOP-CHOP-CHILLI-CHOP; playing GUESSTURES (Sue Ling, remember my HOOLA GIRL dance hahaa....); drinking Milo at night with the chill of Fraser's Hill air; commenting on the terrible comments of Shebby Singh and poking fun at him (Shebby Singh on the I-Gallop... hahha...); walking back to the house after dinner and looking above at the starry night sky (something we rarely or never see in PJ CITY, yes those that reside in PeeJay have the privilege of living in a CITY now); seeing Ps. Julie getting all excited about catching bugs (she caught a tiny tiny snake, a bug that was HUGE and GREEN in colour, etc.); and finally me and my room mates were chatting during the first night as we were about to sleep and this HUUUGGE bug flew into our room and SCARED us till kingdom come but 1 brave soul (Ian) manage to tackle our bug problem by flushing it down the toilet bowl but only after 3 tries. As you can see, all of us guys were reduced to TAUFU as soon as we saw the bug but we couldn't help it as these bugs in Fraser's look so "PROSPEROUS".... must be because of the fresh air and abundant greenery.

Ok, fun aside... time to get serious... We learned from Pastor about the Holy Spirit and us. It really struck home as I reevaluate my walk with the Lord and reconcile with Him and let the Holy Spirit guide me once again. I realise that I was just living in defeat and letting the devil step all over me... But yeah I am really thankful that God has realligned me once again. This camp really thought me how to depend wholly on the Holy Spirit for guidance and really I just couldn't comprehend how God can still touch us in a way that makes us anew. I am saying this because I realise that I was getting all smart-alec that God cannot change me anymore after the many many camps I have attended and still going back to that defeated position. I realise that we cannot do it on our own strength but by the Spirit of the Lord. So this camp helped me to realligned my purpose in the Lord and also to depend on Him more. I knew that I was just keeping my walk with the Lord at bay meaning that I was contented with just what I am doing (cell, worship team, etc). I was not allowing Him to work in me and increase in me but rather I was just comfortable at where I was. I was just MAINTAINING my ministry, walk with God, etc. It wasn't increasing and in fact decreasing to some extent. This camp really thought me to stay focus, realise your priorites in God, walking the talk instead of just all talk... I therefore claim His victories in my life and also in yours. I really pray that we can all realise this earlier rather than later. We only have 1 life and therefore make the best of it by serving the Lord because on the Day of Judgement we only have our works in Him to present to and nothing else. Guys and gals of Section 5 cell and whoever reading this, I really pray that we will all stay focus together and finish this race well.

Emm.. sorry for the long post but yeah that was my 10-cents worth.. Ohhh, FYI I will be going on a business trip with my dad to Amsterdam on July 10, Monday till July 13, Thursday. OHHH, can we all go for an outing together to watch the WORLD CUP finals? I will call you all soon to plan.

Back from the quaintness of Frasers

What an amazing retreat it had been!!
First & foremost, All glory to God for the 2 salvation. Danny Ho & Yi Qian. Awesome is our God who works things out in conformity according to His will yay. praise HIm =)
Thank God for the spiritual food obtained. appropriately themed "Holy Spirit & You".. ps julie shared indepth teaching on the topic & i believe all of us went away with a renewed spirit & a deeper hunger for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. i certainly did!! =p the sessions were remarkable. not only did we delve into the word of God, we were encouraged to think critically & spoke with openness (yup, sth not exactly adhered by our society) & were taught in such powerful manner by pastor. hehe.. truthfully at some point, i could just imagine those days when Jesus discipled his disciples :0D
There were 28 of us at the retreat. thot it was gonna be a little weird initially due to the diverse age grp & diff background.. but boy was i wrong =) (thankfully) we bonded so well and it felt like being in a big & warm family. now i can relate to what the bible says about the body of christ. despite being born in diff families, the barrier is broken when we serve the Lord cos we are called to be one. when God is exalted, He will draw all men to Himself =)
Frasers was a splendid choice for retreat. there, we enjoyed the refreshing fresh air (distant fr the polluted air in the city), peaceful & serene surrounding (away fr the usual hustle & bustle), entertained by the sound of nature (not the honking & noisy streets), the cool temperature (unlike sauna-ing in this 32+degrees in town).. ahhh.. OK..but nothing beats the fellowship lah. ehehe..
GUYs.. how about a cell retreat??

WHy WORK?

will be joining the workforce soon along with u guys.. man, it's truly exciting and i'm looking forward. needless to say i do get many wet blankets who tell me work is an agonising ordeal. honestly was a lil disheartening and i do admit work can be enjoyable and satisfying. but other times, it's dead boring, sometimes difficult, frustrating & stressful - definitely a health hazard! and other times it's so mundane, so insignificant. with all this in mind, i'm very cautious with the attitude i'll carry into my work place. i'm keen on setting it right fr the onset. but how?
what about the biblical perspective on work? i embarked on this search n found these verses mentioned in bible. hope ít'll change perspective 4 u guys who are working & us who r abt to start working. So, Why work? It's a loving thing not to burden others (2 Thess 3:7-8) and so win respect for Christ (1 Thess 4;11,12) ; bcos it's a loving thing to serve the community (Gal 6:9,10) and to provide for our family (1 Tim 5:3,4); bcos it's a loving thing to work so tt we can give to the needy (Eph 4:28); and so tt we can give to gospel work (Phil 4: 15,16).
reading what the bible expound on work.. i wonder how many of us actually work primarily bcos of those reasons. admittedly, those are not the highest priorities of mine. i guess living in a capitalistic system and materialistic societal setting has inevitably lead to our views on work somewhat skewed. nevertheless, there should be no compromise when it comes to the truth. so.. now that i'm taught by the Spirit, i'm praying that God will transform my mind and yours too, that we will work in response to God's amazing love for us, and ultimately Christ be glorified.
shall end with this verse from Eph 6:5-8 "Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bond servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free."

These past few weeks have not been great for me. I am glad that God is still there and His hands are covering me. He is everlasting. Nevertheless, in the past week I have learnt or learnt the importance of a few things
Life lessons:
1. Seek God and pray ALWAYS
2. Choose your career not your job.
3. Be RESPONSIBLE in what you do. (At work, studies, etc)
4. Never spend more than you earn.

Currently I am praying for:
1. My career and my purpose at work
2. The direction of my career
3. Finance
4. Faith that I will be able to find a good cheap dentist.

There's just nothing more blissful than receiving the 'financial clearance' to attend the ICDF conference .Hooray.. Praise God for the finances!! hehe.. ok. guess most of u haven't a clue of what i'm saying..
See..There's an upcoming dance conference organised by Intern. Christian Dance Fellowship in Genting (10-16th July). The fees amounting to $1300, including the 7D/6N stay @ 1st world hotel. Its objectives r basically to present the biblical aspect of creative arts & dance ministries and teaches us to be a creative witness after God's intention. It's simply going to be a mind blowing experience cos it's an international conference & many fr other regions will be participating. Superly Excited!! Think abt it... the diversity of multi-genres & international exchange of ideas. Moreover, there's such wide variety of workshops n progs to choose from.. one can just drool man.. =P
Needless to say i was really keen of going. However i thot the amt was a little steep la. Prayed hard abt it and u know what, within weeks God has blessed me w a $300 subsidy fr 2 person in church. Hallelujah!!=> So, remaining $1000.. still steep la, considering my other holiday plans lining up.hehe. And Today.. my eldest sis is going to issue me the cheque of $1000. PRAISE THE LORD!!!! i'm so thankful & blessed. Can't stop praisng HIm.. I'm so exhilarated. It's gonna be a wonderful experience n looking forward to the cross cultural exchanges. My prayer is that whatever i gain from it, i'll sow it back into His kingdom especially in ministries & missions. Pray along la.
There'll be 5pm daily (tues-sat) "Dance Villages Live Performance"@ the Theme Park 'Times Square'. It will showcase various dances - modern, reggae & funk, hispanic, african, bahamian, physical theatre.. etc. So if u guys have nothing specific on those days at those time, do drop by Genting k.

June 13th my last. pls cont to uphold me in prayer. past 2 weeks have been tremendously challenging. was feeling under the weather earlier - bed bound 4 3days & needless to say couldnt revise.. ...the amount of anxiety i had then.. but.. praise god for the speedy recovery! and also gained back momentum. exam started on tues and doesnt help it's 3days consecutively.. tremendous pressure i tellz u. However, God has truly been there with me all the time. the times when i'm mentally drained, spiritually discouraged.. He gave me rest granted me wisdom. and when i'm anxious and nervous, He reminded to come to HIm in prayer and petition and granted me peace. and when i just couldnt comprehend somethings, He gave me clarity of mind and the focus, and while in exam hall, once again He reminded me to trust in HIm and not my understanding. Truly our God is an awesome God!... i've been so blessed to have many ppl praying for me. you guys, pastors n leaders, my close friends, my family & young nieces and nephew. thank u all.

it's a 10days break b4 the next paper. hehe, decided to allow myself the luxury of time to surf and chill just for todeay... need a breather too =) glad i did otherwise wont know of this blogging thing. honestly it's my 1st time.. quite cool yah. must familiarize myself w this. hey, any unwritten law on blogging tt i shud know of? in case lar, dont want to offend anybody mah.

next, i say this with the intention to glorify God, edify & b accountable to one another ;0P.
it has been a time of soaking in the word of gOD for me. i've long stopped pretending to know Jesus in the humanly way that i did and to rely on His word to reveal HIs son Jesus Christ. the result: mind transforming. In the quest of the Truth, i''m not only getting to know the God i claim as my personal Lord and saaviour better but it draws me closer & causing me to be in love with Him more and more. Nevertheless i'm still fallen by human nature & i can only pray tt i can look at evil in the righteous eyes of our Father & repent of all ungodly ways & seek forgiveness. Praise God for the Spirit tt guides, convicts and working in us ANd a God who is faithful and just to forgive. It is my prayer tt all of us will continue to seek the Lord, know Him as HE is, walk in the manner worthy of our calling and to work out our salvation in fear and trembling. We all cheer each other on lar k?!!

hmmm.. now, what else is there to mention? hehehe.. maybe i shud.. considering those other post were pretty short i must say. sorry lar.. bear w me just a little while more k. look on the other side of the coin.. u wont be hearing fr me the next 10days (((HEY.. i HEArd tt sigh of relief!!! hehe))) and u can read and reread my post when u think of me me or shud i say If u think of me that is.

let's share some of my tentative holiday plans after exam: langkawi (uni frens), singapore w sister, redang (diving), sipadan in sept (diving w avi & crew). sadly my intention to join avi & bro in germany aft my finals didnt quite kick off . oh well..anybody wants to do anything? just gonna bumm around while surveying the labour market. any profitable analysis anyone?! ;)

oh dear.. it's 0430GMT already. didnt realise it till now. see.. my biological clock has greatly been upset. sigh.. ok. guess i'll end here. spare your attention lah.

Hey, sorry for the lack of postings. I have to prepare for my finals coming up on the 12 - 15 of June and with all the preparations with regards to Time's Up this Sat. So yeah busy week for me. Please note that this Fri we will all meet in church for the Night Rally of the AG Asia Pacific Conference. It will start at 8. So yeah be punctual. For those who are going for the Time's Up Conference, please register yourselves earlier tomorrow night so that you don't have to queue up in the morning for your conference materials. Don't forget to invite your friends for this concert yeah! Starts at 7pm to 10 pm. For those, that haven't signed up yet and still wanna go for the conference, you can sign up on Sat itself or tomorrow night at church. Lastly lets all not forget the most important thing which is to pray pray!!
